Life I now get to travel to all the wonderful places I only dreamed about in high school! I've been so blessed to have trekked into rain forests, experienced the Mediterranean, dove in Hawaii, Cozemul, Mexico, and the Carribean, along with other wonderful local dive spots, swam with sea turtles off Barbados, interacted with wild dolpins through the courtesy of the Dolphin Academy on Curacao, met my daughter, Bethe, in London then traveled to southern Ireland for a couple of weeks where we visited Maloney's Pub in Union Hall on her birthday and then on my first official day of retirement, my son dared me to climb the face of Weeping Wall in Idyllwild, and I did...80 feet up AND down! These are experiences that will be cherished for the rest of my life! I love to travel and especially enjoy the ocean, but since I live in the desert, it's not as easy to just "zip" down to the beach anymore! And I do miss that! After working in local high schools for too many years, knew it was time to retire a few years ago and promptly spent two marvelous months in Sardegna and Milano, Italy with friends and family. It was wonderful! Planning a month long trip to South America in December 2006 including a cruise around the Southern tip. My children are my best friends.
