Lynda's Story
Life
I've been married to Brian for 39 years (I can't believe it either!!). We have 3 kids: daughter Shannon, 36( partner Rob Pakulak), son Scott 32 (partner Tanis) and son Brent 30. And five grandkids: Kaesha, Jacob and Olivia Milne, and Mikayla and Chloe Pakulak. Brent is engaged to Tracy and will marry in the next year some time.
Have always lived in Nanaimo but have travelled extensively (Europe, Asia, Mexico). Our kids and grandkids live within 5 - 10 minutes by car from us so we are very lucky to be abl...Expand for more

Workplace
I was a stay-at-home Mom until my last child was in grade one. But I was going to university, taking one night course at a time then!
I got a great job at Malaspina College in 1981 - 4 days a week and summers off - and I'm still there! (Who wouldn't be?) I am the office manager for the Academic/Technical faculty union office.
I am also a half-time private practice therapist, and have been doing that since I finished my Masters degree in 1997.
