Angela's Story
Life
I have had an interesting life experience since I graduated from high school. I spent my first 3 years of high school at San G and then graduated from Moreno Valley H.S. after my father retired from the military. I joined the Air Force Reserves in November 1984 and still currently serving. I am also a Desert Storm Veteran. In 2007, I left the Air Force Reserves and went active duty in the Army. It was not a career choice but something I needed to do for my family at the time. It has been a rough 2 yrs but I am making the best of it. I have 5 beautiful children.....4 that I gave birth to and one that I adopted. I am very proud of my children. They are my world. I enjoy getting in touch and corresponding with old classmates. Military

I was in the Air Force Reserves but I hope to change that in the near future. I chose to continue to serve my country in the Army in January 2007. It will offer many opportunities to finish my education and allow me to retire with a decent income so I won't have to work too hard later. I value the experiences that I have had over the years through the military and they are the things that have help to mold me into the unique individual that I am.
Update:
I retired from the military in June 2011. I moved back to Jacksonville, FL as 3 of my 5 children live there. My two youngest sons are still school age so I will be here until my youngest son graduates. He's 11 now, so it will be a little while. I am a full time college student majoring in Psychology. I am almost finished with my Associate's degree and I will move on to my Bachelors degree. My goal is to achieve my PhD in Forensic Psychology within the next 6-7 years. It will enable me to work with law enforcement, and the legal system.
