Amanda (Mandy)'s Story
Life
Right after I graduated high school, my family and I moved to Casa Grande, AZ for 6 months. During that time, I had my boyfriend of 3 years live with me for 3 months until he broke up with me in November, because he was into drugs and another girl. Long story...
After those six months, my family and I moved to Tempe (Tempe/Scottsdale border). I have also been dating a new boyfriend since January. He was also a graduate from my 2003 AJ High class. He's so close to perfect for me, and I think he's the "one." I thought I had it with my ex, but it doesn't even come close to what I have now!
School
I started school at Robinson Springs School in Millbrook, Alabama, where I used to live until I was 9 yrs. old. During my school life I participated in many clubs, activities, and national organizations. I was in spelling bees for 4 consecqutive years, a hiking club (the height of my athletics), National Junior & National Honor Society, SkillsUSA VICA, the gifted program, a science club, a math competition, and other various clubs/activities.
I graduated high school with 5 honors and in the top 6% of my class.
College
When I moved to Casa Grande for 6 months, I went to Central Arizona College in Coolidge. Then, when I moved to Tempe, I still went to CAC, but I finished the year at the CAC in Apache Junction. I'm going to continue my education at CAC in AJ, but I'm going to take a summer class Scottsdale Community College, since it's much closer to me.
So far my achievements in college have been completing Honors Colloquium and making the Deans List. I'd like to participate in Phi Theta Kappa, since I am qualified to do so.
