Manette's Story
Life
I moved to Baton Rouge in 72 after my sophomore year at Palatine. I had lived in Palatine since 64. I was sad to move, and Baton Rouge was certainly different than Palatine. I moved to Southern California soon after graduation from Tara (my parents divorced). I only attended Tara for my junior and senior year and dated Eddie Campanella most of those 2 years. have taken up skiing, with a passion. In the winter I work part-time on Park City Mountain Resort as a ski host (give tours, help and ski with guests, tough job). I golf a bit, and not very well. Golf is far more challenging than skiing. I love mountain biking. I'm very lucky to live in a place with such a variety of outdoor activities. I volunteered for the Olympics in 2002, (I drug tested the athletes), they were held in Park City & Salt Lake City, what a blast that was. I also work part-time year round taking xrays at a small medical clinic in town.
