Marc's Story
Life
After high school, I spent a semester at the Univ. of Southern Cal, got homesick and transferred to Ohio State. At OSU I majored in Criminology and got my B.A. While at OSU I became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, and organization of which I am still an active Alumni Member.
After college, I went on to Law School at OSU, finishing in 1990. It was in law school when I met my wife.
After law school, I worked for several years at the Columbus City Prosecutor's Office. Columbus became my adopted hometown and I still love it.
My wife, Tamra, is a Pittsburgh native and shortly after our daughter, Morgan, was born in 1998, Tamra started getting really homesick, so we decided to move to Pittsburgh. ...Expand for more
It took a couple of years to find the right job situation for us, but we did and we moved here in March of 2000. Our second daughter, Claire, was born in June 2006.
I still bowl (187 avg.), and I still have all of my hair and only a few gray strands.
School
My biggest crush in school was Dottie Anderson (class of '83). My biggest regrets are that I didn't play football my Senior year and that I was too chicken to ask Dottie to the prom.
My favorite teacher was Mr. Beck.
My best memories are of DeeJaying dances, rap announcements in the morning, track, football, band and getting away with flooding the Chem lab and the Algebra room underneath it.
Would I do it all again? Yeah! I had a great time at LaBrae!
