Life Hi to all. Greetings from Smithtown, Long Island, where I still live. I have lived in the Smithtown Township since I was eight days old. I did my undergraduate studies at the State College of New York at Oneonta and got my Master's in Social Work degree at SUNY at Stony Brook. I am currently working as a social worker for SCO Family of Services, a large private human services agency, with offices and programs in New York City and Long Island. I was working as a supervisor in one of the foster-care units in the Brentwood, L.I. office. In November 2008, I transferred to the Training and Staff Development Department in the Jamaica, Queens office, working as a trainer. I am an active member of the Baha'i Faith, becoming a Baha'i in 1986, and am an author of an introductory book on the Baha'i Faith, Divine Journey: Exploring the Baha'i Faith. I am very involved in serving on committees and task-forces focused upon enhancing racial, religious, and cultural harmony and fellowship, promoting cultural diversity, and reducing prejudice.
