R. Marc's Story
I am happy to report that my latest book (far more fun than the previous law books that I've written) was published in the fall of 2015. Entitled Old Whiskey and Young Women: American True Crime Tales of Murder, Sex and Scandal, it concerns old once famous crime cases that are now totally forgotten due to the passage of time. I write about the rape/murder trial of America's foremost comedian as well as the unsolved murder of America's most famous movie director. Today no one knows anything about either person. I also discuss the real Norman Bates as well as a host of other compelling personalities who have in common only that at one time everyone knew them and now no one does.

was released in the US and Europe. For the fall semester, 2015, I returned to my alma mater, Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, to teach a course about it. For the winter/spring semester, I hope to teach the same course in Boston. I am also speaking at various locations.
I hope that you will read my book and tell me what you think.
I believe that my past career, first as an attorney in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and then as a judge in the Juvenile Court followed elevation to the Appeals Court helped prepare me for what I am doing now. I left the Appeals Court on 8/21/15. Three days later, on 8/24, I had moved to Ohio to teach and lecture. In December it's back to Massachusetts.
