I grew up in Westley Heights, Wash,DC living with my grandparents from the time I was 3 weeks old. I had polio and they got me to walking with only drop foot from the polio. I had non paralyzing polio. I did not know I had polio until I was 50. then went to Horce Mann, Gordon Jr. High and Western. Then on to Guilford College for one year and then working in the DC area. I married and had 3 wonderful children. My two daughters live in TX and my son lives in IN. I have 6 grandchidlren and of them 2 are stepgrandchidlren. I live in PA with a wonderful soulmate and we have a wonderful life. I could not ask for a more than I have. I am in a wheelchair now and miss walking and dancing and most of all driving a car to where I want to be and do stuff by my self My Dr.s have found a cure the the pain in my feet from damaged nerves and legs from damaged muscles I would love to reconnect with friends and foes alike from the schools where I went. I hope to hear from all that visit as a stranger is just someon...Expand for more

School
THE TEACHER THAT HELPED ME THE MOST WAS MS GAINGER WHO MADE ME LEARN THE 3 TABLE IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE CLASS BY WRITING IT ON THE BOARD 50 TIMES. MY CRUSH WAS ON DAN DOLLARHIDE AND ROBERT POINTDESTER WHEN WE GRADUATED. TO ME IT WAS A SAD TIME AS WE ALL WENT IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS AND DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE COUNTRY I WENT TO COLLEGE IN NC AND HAD A GREAT TIME. I finished my education when I was a single mother living in Frederick MD and so now I read and keep up with the kids I taught in school. Hope you all have a wonderful life and know that I have a wonderful life and wonderful family and friends from classsmates
I hope my classmates remember me a quite and shy. And that I had a hard time in school as I read backwards.
