College
I went to KCCBS for all my basics, then transferred to UMKC to finish my education classes and earn my undergraduate degree. I returned to UMKC to get my M.Ed. and finished in 1997.
Workplace

tal in 1997 I began teaching at Highlands Elementary in the Shawnee Mission School District where I still teach. I absolutely love teaching even though first grade is a challenge. My mission in the classroom is for each child to feel safe and loved. I tell my parents each year that if 20 years from now the students can't remember my name or what they learned, that if they simply remember that they were loved, then I have been successful.
