Marcia's Story

Life Born in Bay City Michigan, I spent most of most of my youth in Burlington Wisconsin. My family moved to Washington State in 1984. I graduated from The University of Washington, studing Psychology and Dance. I Coached Junior High, High School, and Competitive Club Gymnastics until 1989. Then,taking my Dad's advice to "get a real job", I switched to the world of "Financial Services". I worked at Bank of America from 1989 to 1998. My last position was VP in Private Banking. I Met my husband, a fellow B of A guy. I Married in 1997, Then became Co-Principal and Co-Owner of an insurance agency 1998. I had a daughter in 1999. her presidential campaign in the year 2034. Yes, she does think she is that important, at eleven. I have previously enjoyed volunteering as a church financial counselor, serving as a Deacon: The Class of 2007 in Seattle at (upc.org) then becoming co-chair of the Board of Deacons for University Presbyterian Church in 2006 and 2007. Deciding to take a fun opportunity to buy a home in Bend Oregon (hoping to take advantage of the great outdoors I regained my interest in skiing, golfing, horses, and biking. I now divide my time between Seattle and Bend. High School holds great memories for me, and I am having a blast re-connecting with classmates from our school days!
