Marejo's Story
Life
Ok update....my oldest is now 30 and my youngest is 19 and a Marine (currently in Iraq). I am very proud of both of them. Ian (eldest) lives in Washington, closer to Seattle than me, but I am only a mile from the beaches of Puget Sound & I am happy here. I am working at home facilitating a healing circle, and teaching meditation and I still do a bit of massage therapy (energy balancing thru massage). No daughter in law yet, no grandkids. But my lil nieces keep me practicing.
School
Let's see..I attended KC college of Med/Dental Assistants and actually worked for a doctor...it was a blast. I went on to proclaim that Early Childhood Education was REALLY my niche. LOL By that time I was in Tucson AZ (Pima Community College)...Expand for more
and the opportunities for school programs abounds still. I probably should have completed my degree but I realy had a tough proffessor in Algebra. Why haven't I repeated it? Somewhere in the middle of that I decided Mental Health was where I was really good. (Does that mean I am a litle crazY? Hmm. LOL), And I experienced some of the most fascinating behaviors in the SMI (severely mentally ill) patients I got to work with...from school-age children to adults. Since then I have studied on a full time basis in spiritual beliefs. I am am ordained minister; I have studied energy balancing through massage therapy, Having studied with 2 physicians and 2 medicine women of a native tribe in AZ. My gift is the healing that comes from my hands.
