Margaret's Story
During college, I committed my life to Christ and to serving Him with all my heart, soul, and mind, wherever and however God might lead. After I finished my CA teaching credential, I taught 4th grade at Arcadia Christian School for one year. I then moved to Tanzania where I taught twelve 1st-5th grade missionary children in a one-room schoolhouse for three years. That was a blast! o propose and we married in California in 1993, living in Pasadena that first year. In 1994, we moved to near the Rwandan border in Tanzania and served there during the refugee crisis. Since 1997, we have lived on the shores of Lake Victoria, using a catamaran to reach out to the islanders on some of the 180 islands on the lake, addressing their spritual and physical needs under the Africa Inland Church.
