Margaret's Story
Im married to Rick Ohmie and we have 4 grown children,2 boys & 2 girls. We also have 9 grandkids from 19 to 9 yrs of age. In August our daughter Margaret will remarry and have 3 more kids and she will be a instant grandma to 3 kids so we will be great grandparents. I'm a caregiver for my mom Wednesday through Saturday and a nanny for a four year boy named Logan. We go to New Life Riverfalls church in West Linn across from the High school. My husband builds bridges and heavy construction . He helped build the tunnel for the light rail and the max line bridges for the airport line as well as the Hillsboro line. We met at karaoke singing. His voice won me over. It differently wasn't the other way around. We've been married for almost 15 yrs but together 17 yrs. I've been married before, he's younger, I made him a instant grandpa two weeks before his 32 birthday oops. We are such a great family, I love him so much . Our youngest son is autistic he just turned 21 and is learning to sing karaoke like his dad.We only have two granddaughters that are 9 & 11:D:D all the rest are boys. My son Michael has a 19 year old named Damian. My 36 year old girl is Michelle and she has a 18 yr old Christopher he starts job Corp today to learn to work on cars and then maybe graphic arts. She has a 16, 15, 15, and 14 yr old boys that are all into basketball . The 14 yr old is 6'4 and his 15 yr old brother is 6'3. Those two are actually stepsons to her. We started out a little ruff in life but finally found someone to really love us and as of my husband I believe God brought us together because...Expand for more
I prayed for him to be a Godly man and he sure is. He has stay with me through a form of chemo treatment for eleven months, giving me all my treatments shots or my daughter Michelle did. Without them helping God and nurses with all my treatments I would not be here now and it's been 8 yrs. Thank the Lord and family.:D:D
I was tomboyish , love sledding down Failing Street, had car washes in our hugh yard. I was one of seven girls . I rode horses with my friend Jessica, had fun just hanging out with friends blazing trails through the woods, swinging on vines off the cliff side. I was a river rat in the summer and also loved fishing . Had my share of boyfriends . I was miss understood by alot of people, more judged by my hand me down clothes, or called skinny Kinney. Boy if they could see me now, I wish they called me that again:D:D:D LOL. No I love how I am even though my doctor would like me to lose thirty:) at least I'm healthier then I was eight yrs ago. I love my life even though I'm busy taking care of mom. It could be ten times worse she could not be around so I can take care of het. I love my family more then anyone could ever see.Big family to love, between my sisters and I mom had 25 grandkids, 26 great grand kids and one great great grandson until August then my daughters new family gets added that's another seven people. WOW things have changed alot since Bolton when I was in seventh grade that's when I had to move the summer before eighth grade started I wonder what life would be like if we stayed?? But I wouldn't change this life for anything I love my life...
