Margaret's Story
Well, quite a few changes since high school days. Never felt like I fit in back then, coming from "across the tracks" as it were back then, and being overweight...timid and scared of my own shadow. Graduated from UNCG with a 3.5 GPA while taking a full course load and working full time...had to put myself through college, but by golly I did it. Going to college really brought me out of my shell, and I got involved in cycling (a passion of mine), cardio training and some weight lifting, and the end result was totally opposite of that shy, overweight, scared little girl..... a confident, attractive, successful woman.
Never married, but had at 2 serious relationships that have taught me a great deal about me and people in general. I guess you could say, those were my restless years.Have found that true happiness and joy ...Expand for more
comes from within, not through others and not through "things," and certainly not through what people think and say about you.
I have been involved in art over the years.... painting in oils, watercolors, etc. any medium I can find to work with, I'll try it! Art is my second passion over cycling, working out and B A S E B A L L.
One of my PASSIONS is baseball! I LOVE the Boston Red Sox! Have been a fan for years, after getting the fever from a good friend who used to live in Boston.
My personality is quite different since HS as well. If any of you remember the TV show Dharma and Greg, I'm basically a Dharma type, no more explanation needed, hippie, dippy, free spirit, into a lot of things, with true inner peace and happiness, yoga, meditation, etc.
Well, let's go plant something.... organic of course!!!!
