Life
Not unlike a phoenix, I completely crash and burn every couple of years and rebuild my life. I had settled in Detroit, MI, bought a house, had a career as a mortgage banker, and was doing fine by all standards. But then I got that itchy "MUST CHANGE" feeling, and I knew it was time to revolutionize my life again. So I cut my hair super short, put my house up on the market, quit my job, and relocated to Jacksonville, FL. (Probably why I have never gone to a reunion because try explaining that one!) r in my 30's then I ever did before. That whole aging like a fine wine thing is so true! Many people I talk to are defined by their roles in life - a mother, a wife, a mortgage banker, etc. I am unwritten, and I love that! My mother says I must have a little gypsy in me. :) I have a great man in my life and an adorable cat which is probably the closest I will ever come to having children. I still plan to write a novel . . . someday. I just read in Entertainment Weekly about a man who wrote his debut novel at 90! I guess I still have time. Enough for now!
