Maria's Story

Life Pets: A Jack Russell Terrier. She's like a two-year old and keeps me pretty busy when I am home. She likes digging, chewing her toys, jumping through the air and playing ball. Hobbies: Theater and reading. I just finished a book about a forensic anthropologist who went to Rwanda and Bosnia. Last year I was working on Nevada Barr mysteries. Theater consumes a large portion of my free time. All my friends here are either from church or from theater. It was hard having two months of evenings free. I usually have five nights a week occupied with Theater (Sea World or volunteer at the community theater). This leaves two evenings free to do... grocery shopping! Laundry! and go out. 2005: It's been a slow year. I did theater tech (volunteer) for Driving Miss Daisy and the Nerd. I attended the Oyster Bake, NIOSA,Earth Day and the Taste of New Orleans for Fiesta. I am starting the season for Sea World in June. 2004: Moved to Texas. Open Water Certification for SCUBA.
