Life Hi all! Sure doesn't seem like it's been 26 years since West! I've had all sorts of careers, Mortgage loan specialist, Nursing, Sales, but I always kept my CDL's (Like father, like daughter?!) So for the past 8 years I've run over the road as a long distance truck driver. My dog Barkley and I have traveled extensively in all the states, in fact, his claim to fame is that he has "marked his territory in every state". My dad is still truckin', too. I came off the road and was out of work for several months caring for my mom...she lost her battle with Lymphoma on May 26, 2005. Dad is still the same ole Outlaw he always was, only he's been slowing down a little the past couple of years. Still rides his Harley, and he's just married his long-time girlfriend Peggy, who by the way, is 20 years his junior!!!! Go Godfather!!! I moved to Florida after my mother passed away. I live between Daytona and Orlando. I've been divorced, widowed, and screwed, but I'm now married to a terrific guy, and I homeschool his severely autistic son. I never had any kids, but I have a 25 y/o step son that I raised frm 4 to 14 yrs. old. I had to bury his dad (he drowned at Badin Lake in '97) on his 14th birthday. He has a little boy, so in a manner of speaking I'm a grandmother. I'll never forget the corn field on the front lawn. We were ribbed about that so much...is i...Expand for more
