Life After Lamar High School (Class of 1989) I enlisted in the Air Force and off to basic I went. On 1 Jun 90 it was San Antonio, Tx for Basic Training (Lackland A.F.B) I went to tech. school for Logistics (Supply) in Colorado (Lowry A.F.B) then off to my first assignment in Michigan (K.I Sawyer A.F.B). Being from Tx, I was not use to the snow-- But I managed. Being newly married to my 1st husband Ricardo Velazquez, I had my 1st child Denise Velazquez. I put in for an assignment in Korea (Kunsan AB) and because of differences divorced my 1st. For a year I was stationed in Korea and met my 2nd husband Richard Sneed and we got stationed in Texas or I got stationed in Texas and he got stationed in California (Vandenberg A.F.B) and he moved to the Guard in San Antonio where I was stationed and soon after 2 years we divorced and I stayed single for a while. And I had Christian, my 2nd child (girl). And I met a great guy in the military and younger Jason Ramon. Then I had to leave Active duty there in San Antonio and move back to Houston. I joined the Guard Unit there (147th FW). I was still happily married to Jason. Although we traveled back and forth to San Antonio and Houston to see each other. And I had a baby girl (Angelina Ramon). Then I had an accident in June 2002 which caused my early retirement because of injuries. Then I moved to California where I live with my husband and my three girls. We are happy and enjoy traveling around California. Now we are in Florida. Melbourne Florida. Enjoy the area but the humidity I can do without. School The class I enjoyed and later enjoyed was J.R.O.T.C. The instructors that inspired me were my R.O.T.C intructors. Ret.
