More about Marie:"I have been married for 28 years and have a 12-year old son. I am very active in Boy Scouts. My son, Edward, is a Star Scout and is working very hard for Life. d a 6 day course to make me a better leader. It has really inspired me to do all that I can do to better myself and better the Scouting experience.
I am also a caregiver. My brother-in-law Mike lives with us and he has dimentia. I have decided it is high time I became aware of this disease so I can be a better caregiver. It is overwhelming at times and I would like to have a better understanding so I can be more empathic to my brother-in-law's illness.
I am also studying to learn new office software so I can be up to date with the office world and hopefully get a job in an office again soon.
I enjoy singing, and I have written several songs (it's been a while) and occasionally write poems. I have become inspired all over again since I attended my Scout training. I sang one of my original songs on Sunday at the church service. It woke my spiritual being once again. I plan on attending church more often and get back on track spiritually.
I play guitar (enough to get me by anyway) and still have the same guitar I bought when I was 16 years old.
I am enjoying, but at the same time fretting, watching Edward grow up! I know it has to happen and for those of you that listen to country music... he thinks we are "just campin"! What a journey!!".
