Marie's Story
I lived in New York from 1964 - 1980. Got married in 1978 and moved to Georgia in 1980 when my son was three months old. Have two sons, Darius 31 and Kevin 29. Worked at the Georgia 'institute of
Technology from 1990 - 2005. Divorced in 2000 and left Georgia and Georgia Tech for Washington, DC to take a position at Georgetown University where I am presently. Life has been a fantastic journey and this portion is just another chapter. ...Expand for more
I've traveled half way around the world and have seen 3 of the new Seven Wonders of the World, from my bucket list. I'm headed to China in August to see the Great Wall, Brazil in September and Tahiti in November. I will retire back to Georgia (2012) where I still have a home. My oldest son is planning to get married in 2012 and I have my 50th high school reunion that year as well and will travel to St. John to attend any festivities.
