Marie's Story
I graduated from Maria Regina College with an AAS degree in 1970 studying to be a medical secretary. I worked summers at St. Joseph' s Hospital doing medical transcription to work my way through college. My work was complimented by the very famous heart surgeons Heitzman-Delmonico who wanted me to transcribe their 12 hr. surgeries.
I went on from there to graduate from Lemoyne College in 1973 with a BA degree in History/Pre-law.
After working in various occupations, I settled in working for State Farm agents. Upon ge...Expand for more
tting my insurance licenses I started my own insurance agency with State Farm in 1988.
I was able to accomplish all this by the support of my loving parents who helped me financially and encouraged me, the Franciscan Nuns who taught me how to grow up religiously and morally and the rest of my hard working family who immigrated from Italy to this wonderful country USA. They worked very hard to be citizens and to make their family proud by helping them accomplish more in their life.
