Marilyn Brown:  

April, 2022 - I actually have several great clients that I’m working with on a variety of issues. I am working with a couple of nonprofit boards on board governance and their role vs the CEO/ Executive Director. I’ve also working with a couple businesses in opening doors to local governments. My firm is Marilyn Brown Consulting llc, and, at this point I’m truly enjoying what I am doing in this new role, being challenged each day, and looking for a finance person to help keep me running things well! November, 2021. I am, for the first time in my adult life, joining the entrepreneur private sector! No retirement for me! I am just starting a new consulting firm to assist businesses and organizations that want to work with local government and school districts. My company is Marilyn Brown Consulting, llc and I’m very excited! I understand very well how local governments operate. In May, 2021, I determined it was time for me to step down from public office. I think the pandemic helped things, but my younger daughter, Daryn’s health and my 92+ year old mom, who is still in Cleveland, helped me decide I know longer could juggle providing emotional support for each of them while doing my job as County Commissioner.
