Marilyn's Story
After graduation in '63, I went to Millersville. Got married in 1966 and moved to Maryland. We had 2 daughters. My husband passed away in 1989. Luckily, I was able to keep very busy teaching. Now I have two grandchildren I adore. I've been retired for a few years and I've been traveling.Besides a number of trips throughout the U.S., I've spent a couple of weeks in China, toured southern Spain and Barcelona, and traveled by river from Amsterdam to Budapest. ters and I visited Philly to see Lincoln HS before they tore it down.Wandering the halls was very nostalgic. I could almost see ghostly images of guys hanging out at the bottom of the ramps. I was so self conscious walking by there. I've been in touch with my best friend, Charlotte, recently.After being out of contact for 50 years, we have a lot to talk about. I haven't been to Millersville for a very long time. I have very good memories of Lincoln and Millersville. Those years were the BEST!
