Life It's still a long way from 1967! My son from my first marriage, Tom Baxter, is 39 now... no grandchildren, just a really cute, well-behaved bearded collie, named Ian! Steve and I have been married since Nov. 1987. Our home is in Chico, CA. We have had some interesting experiences together; enduring the Army from 1988-1992 (yes, right through the Gulf War and aftermath); living in El Paso, TX in 1988 and then Bitburg, Germany '89-'92 (courtesy of the US Army--travel was one of the perks-- though, Steve thinks he could have done without the 6 months in Saudi Arabia, thank you very much!); Steve's several health problems resulting from his military duties; and now living with the reality of his being "medically retired" with all the potential and limitations that reality implies.
