Life
From elementary school in El Cerrito and Arcata, California, and junior and senior high school in (again) El Cerrito and West Covina, I moved to New Jersey for undergraduate studies (Rutgers U.) and some teaching (Blair Academy - perhaps the best learning experience of my life) before crossing the pond to the UK to pursue a Ph.D. (St. Andrews), where I met my wife (23 wonderful years now!). witched from classical languages and literature to financial services, soldiered through business and chartered accountancy, and did financial sector restructuring in banking crises in various countries with a base in London and periodically in Washington, D.C. In January 2003, I joined a bank and am based in London. I would be very keen to catch up with former classmates from those years long ago in sunny California.
