Mark's Story
Life
Alot sure has changed, personally and in the world, after HS. After college at UW-Madison I worked for a couple of insurance companies in claims, then went into managing weapons contracts for Honeywell and Lockheed Martin, find myself back in insurance, managing the special investigative unit (SIU). I had rec'd my MBA in 1991, then decided to get my MA in Psychology which I just finished, awaiting approval of my thesis, and am working toward my licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I work PT as a therapist for a private social services agency as I accumulate the required hours. have 3 children, 2 boys and a daughter, now ages 23, 19 and 15.
For hobbies, I like to do house renovations, but don't really have enough time. I just bought a new motorcycle and especially enjoy taking long rides on that. My plan is to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway this year in VA through NC, and next year I hope to tour Northern Italy via bike, renting one in Milan, and just going wherever the mood strikes.
Workplace
I spent a long time in the insurance business-claims, where I still am. I am currently finishing my Master's in Psychology and plan to open my practice next year. I also worked for various defense contractors over the years managing subcontracts for various military programs.
