About Dr. Mark Ellis, Ph.D.
Aside from being an unashamed Holy Rolling Jesus Freak, I’m a physical fitness nut. I have over 20 years mixed martial arts competition and experience both striking and grappling forms holding the status of Black Belt.
I also lift on a 4 day cycle and cardio three times a week. My height is 6’ 1” weight 210 – 220 minimal body fat. My current bench press max is over 500 lbs. I won the Sonoma bench press championship heavy weight division in 1984 covered by the Sonoma Index Tribune and may compete again in the next few years. – steroid free and always will be.
I enjoy classroom interaction with my students who are pursuing a graduate level degree. I have also authored articles and publications designed to help first year law students succeed in law school and go beyond mere survival mode.

After graduating from high school, I served in the United States Air Force. After serving in the armed forces, I went on to finish college earning the Bachelor of Science Degree. I further went on to graduate from Regent University, Virginia Beach VA; Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, OK; Capella University Graduate School of Business and Technology Minneapolis, MN; Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and postgraduate education from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA.
My education majors are in Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, Practical Theology and Law. I am the Senior Partner of the Ellis Group LLC. I specialize in the area of Tort Law, Contract Law, and the broad area of Business Law.
As a scholar / practitioner, I offer and provide professional consultation and diagnosis for various multinational organizations and Fortune 500 companies seeking to increase organizational performance, influence and efficiency. As a member of the top one percent of the US population by wealth and financial income, I believe in promoting lower taxes, limited government, fiscal responsibility, transparency, and government accountability.
I am a professor at a world-renowned State University that is universally recognized as a world-class research university in the United States. Also, I teach in a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program at a major university consisting of over 50,000 students; educating future scholar / practitioners, university administrators, professors, and educational researchers.
Happily married for over 25 years to one of the most beautiful women in the world - former model, television talk show host and Miss California Contender. Proud father of three wonderful children who are super smart, super good-looking, and committed to Jesus Christ.".
