Mark's Story
Life
The years after graduation took me to Sam Houston State graduating in 1971. I moved to Colorado and lived there for several years before moving a little farther East into Kansas. There was an opportunity in Iowa about 11 years later and we have been here for 28 years. My wife Molly and I have two children a son Matt is a professor at The U of Toledo and our daughter Kelcee who is married and a mental health specialist in Des Moines, IA. llowed me to travel extensively, live away from the big city and meet a myriad of interesting people. I retired in 2014 enjoyed some very different hobbies until finally starting to wise up at age 40. I finally settled into some safer pursuits Bass Fishing and Kayaking. We have been spending our winters back in Texas and have connected with some Westbury Classmates as well as friends from Sam Houston State. My wife retired from teaching middle school science in Orange City, Iowa. We now live full time except January through April at our little place by West Lake Okoboji.
