Mark's Story

I currently live in Salem, Oregon and have been in the area since moving from California in 1996. Life has been an interesting adventure and absolutely enjoy my family, work and life. My Mom lives about 1/2 mile from me and is doing well staying active at 81. I have one daughter age 9. Still making great food and we enjoy the benefits all the time. Interesting fact is that Tom Finch and I went to school together from Kindergarten through College. Halecrest, St. Rose of Lima, Marian, and Cal Poly Pomona I ended up playing college basketball by walking on at Washington State University in 1982 -83 a team that went on to win the Co-Championship with UCLA in the Pac 10. We also went on to the NCAA's and lost to Virgina (Ralph Sampson and crew). Played a year or so at Cal Poly Pomona and played some baseball before injuries and lack of talent caught up.
