Mark's Story

Well since I graduated in 78, I went to work at Pratt and Whitney spent 7 years there picking wire brushes out of my pants from polishing airplane parts. After that I spent 16 years at Barclay Business Credit which got bought out by Shawmut , which got bought out by Fleet. We were sort of left alone and we had a great CEO at Fleet Capital Loved my job there as I was the Facilities go to guy. I did everything from mail to Moving offices. Had a blast , got to drive the CEO's vette, the company mercedes and BMW. It was a great place to work for CEO would come in and sit and talk to for half an hour or so. When he retired he took all of us out to lunch Hows that for a good guy. I got to go to Nashville on them one year for a conference. Sadly though Fleet Corporate came in and downsized the place. know work in New Haven at Hill Health Corp. It works with Yale/New Haven Hospital . They are a non profit clinic. Which means I see a host of characters which I can base some of them in my writings. Sometimes I do wonder if they live in the 70's , I am surprised they have email, mguertin athillhealthcenter. They are that backward or so it seems I love to write poems, short stories. I have written quite a few things and have some of my writings in the Library of Congress. I am a wikipedia junkie , cause I am always looking to learn. As for heading into the fifth decade of exploring life , I see it as new avenues to explore. And just think I start to get 10% off of some stuff I want to buy. I hope that when you read this it doesn't bore you and at the least it brings a smile to your face for at least a little while.
