Mark L.'s Story
Life
Currently living in Worcester with my wife Sharon. We have a daughter Jennifer. She is married to Michael Perchak. We have two grandsons Daniel James and Layne Michael.
I worked in healthcare for over 34 years. Blind since 1981 I stopped working in 2004.
* I have been BLIND since 1981 due to Retinitis Pigmentosa.
School
Grammar School Memories:
The year that the class play was "Little Black Sambo" and I worked on the stage crew.
Mrs. Lane and the Christmas Trees wee made using Burdox. Some of us got to go to Oakham and pick the Burdox. THe farm we picked the Burdox at was purchased by my Uncle Bill Lowell later that year.
High School Memories:
The dances at the Spencer Town Hall
Church retreats to Martha's Vinyard, Camp Wind in the Pines and the horseback trip and overnite.
My favorite teacher was AC's freshman English class
A true gentleman was Coach Gearin.
Small world - While I was taking History with Mr. Mullaney, the girl I married was playing cards on Friday nights with Uncle Larry, one in the same.
Bridgeton Academy Memories:

Freeman Whitney's English class where I was challenged and learned so much about English and myself. Mr. Normands French class with Wes Stevenson and Les Miserable alias Frank Mastratti.
College
I graduated from Bridgeton Academy in North Bridgeton, ME in 1970. I Lettered in baseball and was recognized for my contributions to the basketball team.
I attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND.
I was majoring in Architecture with a minor in Engineering.
