Marlene's Story

Life My life as had it's up and downs probably the same as every one else. I have a dog named "woofie" he about 6 yrs old,a golden retriever Because he has to be gental with my grandchildren and I like that type of dog,we have a cat that I know will not be with us very long he is 17 yrs old and deaf but hes a sweetheart and I love him his name is odie.My children are my life and grandchildren and a great granddaughter only adds to my joy they are all very sucssesful and happy the grand children all have wonderful parents some slower to grow up but all doing great. My oldest daughter liver in upper michigan. I have a son in Pa. Another son in North Carolina and the youngest lives in Virgina. My job keeps me busy but I also have a lot of time for those kids Vacations are very emportant part of our lives because we share them together we go to flo. and canc...Expand for more
un every year its a family time for all of us. not counting all the holidays we have they kind of take turns for all the holidays except Easter which is at my house. I have a large home I had it built in 1993, 5 bedrooms, a very large yard with a play yard for the children, a pool has been on my list for a number of years but it just isn't going to happen. would need to stay home more to take care of it. well thats my boring life and loving it. Workplace For a least 15yrs I worked for my mom at Lylans beauty shop in Ferndale. Moved to Penna. and worked as a manager for Royal Opitical. quite working for awhile to spend more time with my children. Then moverd to virgina, from 1993 till now I have been the assistant manager for eckerd pharmancy, It's almost time to retire, but that is not one that has made the top ten on my list of things to do. thats it for now.
