Marsha's Story
I was one of those summer school girls who went out to teach with a 2 year certificate. Remember how we did that: summer school, full term and then summer school and then off to the classroom. i was lucky to meet wonderful people in springfield and have a super time as all young kids do---I'm thinking we were't too serious about our studies back then. School was fun and we liked being with our friends. A bit less stressful than college/university kids find it today. But, we did get a good education and went on out into the world to do our part. long career in the classroom where i MET SO MANY WONDERFUL young people who touched my life in many ways.
I also met my life's partner at SSTC..we were married for 51 years. He passed away this past December. We raised 4 good kids who've gone on to do their thing and to raise their families. As a family we get together often.
I was and still am a person who likes to do many different things. So, I read, golf, serve on political boards,share with my good friends, travel as often as I can; participate in community theater etc. etc. etc.
