Marsha's Story
Life
Married Don Powell in 1969. Don passed away 2 years later. Married my husband Robert in 1974. We have 2 children, Michele and Michael. Michele and her husband have 7 children. Michael has 5 children. Time is flying by. My firefighter husband is now officially retired from HFD. We bought a Harley and have already been enjoying the fun of that. I am an official Harley Girl. Went to Sturgis in '06. Didn't do the wild partying but did see some beautiful country.
Was able to join the Catholic Church and have our marriage validated after being married almost 32 years.
My first job was at Lacy's Dairiette on East HoustonRoad. The building is now gone.

r forget is playing very late in the evening with all my friends on our street. No worries or fears. Just like childhood should be.
Do I have a hero? I would have to say my Mom. She is a person that instilled the values I have today and worked to pass on to my children.
I have been fortunate to live in TEXAS my entire life. I don't mind visiting other places but always happy to be back home in the best state in the country, TEXAS.
When I was very young I never would have thought I would be a bonafide Catholic, but here I am. I was raised in the Pentecostal faith. Big switch.
Strangest job? I worked in a bar for 2 days........Not a job for me. I prefer the crazies of the real estate world.
