Marshall's Story
Just back from training Japanese and Asian peacekeepers in Hiroshima. They will be deployed to a number of civilian UN agencies. What a great group of talented and dedicated young people!
Am off to Austria to do some peacebuilding training for the Austrian Study Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution.
Planning to make this year's reunion.
Am sorry that I will miss the Delta reunion Nov 4/12 as I will be working in The Hague that week.
Had a great time being honored at Delta in October 2011 when I was inducted into the Delta Wall of Excellence. Met many old friends.
Currently living in Halifax. Remarried in 2006.

· Author of more than 140 publications and professional papers.
- Currently works in Africa on post-conflict reconstruction of societies, and training of civilian, police and military peace-keepers.
- Has conducted a variety of contract work and projects for the Canadian Government and various UN organizations (Foreign Affairs Canada, Department of Canadian Heritage, Canadian International Development Agency, Canadian Centre for Management Development, UNESCO, UN High Commission for Human Rights, UN High Commission for Refugees, International Labour Organization,...Expand for more

Has worked in 19 African countries, the Balkans, and throughout West and Eastern Europe.
· From 1971-2000 was a Professor of Political Science teaching International Organization, Human Rights, Peace Studies, Refugees, and Information Technology, Department of Political Science, Acadia University. Took early retirement in June 2000.
· Co-developer (1996-99) of the Digital Agora, an interactive collaborative, problem-based learning system in the social sciences, which received a Presidential Innovation Award from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada,
· Designer of websites for the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs Human Rights Division, UNESCO Department of Peace, Human Rights, Democracy and Tolerance, and the African Centre for Democracy and Human Rights Studies, amongst others.
· Trainer for Governments and NGOs
· Public speaker on peace, human rights, refugee, international organization, foreign policy, information technology, e-government, and bioethics issues.
· Member of over 20 Canadian delegations to International Meetings, dating from 1979 (International Conference on Indo Chinese Boat People Refugees) to the present (Intergovernmental Bioethics Committee).
