Martha's Story
Life
For anyone interested in know what has happened to me since graduation, here is the brief version....
In the last 20+ years I....
-joined the U.S. Navy and was in for 5 years
-Spent three of those years overseas
-Got married while I was there. His name is
Jimmy
-Got out of the Service with an Honorable
Discharge
-Got stationed in San Diego, CA for 9 1/2
years
-Had three (3) children, a boy Robert (17)
and two (2) girls, Kathryna (13) and
Rebecca (12).
-Our next station was Pt. Mugu, just outside
of Oxnard, CA. We were there for ...Expand for more
6 years.
-Attended Oxnard Comm. College where I
graduated with honors with a degree in
Restaurant Management.
-Moved to Las Vegas for the last year of
Jim's enlistment While he was Waiting for
his retirement after 20 years to go
through.
-Moved to our present location in GA when Jim
got a job doing what he did in the Navy
but now as a Civilian.
Now that we are settled for the first time in 20 years in a place we own, I'm thinking of going back to school again. Possibly to get a degree in History and teaching. They seem to be short on teachers around here.
