Martha's Story

I worked at Parkview Hospital in Plymouth after graduation and then moved on to WTCA Radio where I was a receptionist and copywriter. It was fascinating work. It was there that I met and married Rick Derf in 1967. Rick & I have two daughters and seven grandchildren and reside in Grand Haven, MI, about two hours north of old Tyner High on US 31. We own a company that has a website and are enjoying the slower pace of the "Profitable Solutions" company over that of AFLAC where Rick worked as a manager for nearly 25 years.
