Martin's Story
Life
I have two beautiful children; Maia (3) and newborn Sam. We're all settling into our family life (I think we're done with the kids) and enjoying our home. I work, and play gigs on piano around town, and one weekend a month I play in an Air Force band. I know I've been blessed with a wonderful life, and I give thanks for that every day... it keeps me from getting into mischief!
Workplace
Let's see... started out teaching music part time at North Olmsted in 1998, and moved on to full time the year afte...Expand for more
r that as a full time assistant band director. In 2004, I became the head band director at Kirtland High School and that's where I still am today. Scary... the thought of me having an influence on young people!
Military
I enlisted after 9/11/2001 to offer my service to my country. They thought I would be best utilized playing in a band (once a band geek, always a band geek) and that's what I do. I may be doing a brief tour in the middle east in 2007! I never thought I'd be doing that back in high school.
