Life After Lamar, I headed to Business School at University of Houston-Central Campus. There I got involved in an organization called AIESEC, a student corporation that located jobs for college students in his/her field of study and allow college student learn how to run a business. AIESEC open many doors for me and allowed me to travel and work in many place in Europe and Latin America. I got my BBA in Finance from U of H and headed off to Liege, Belgium for a 2 year assignment with Unisys as a Financial Analyst. Most of my adult life has been center around my career and traveling. Life as a single women and Corporate America was fun and challeging. I love meeting new people and finding new places to visit. At 39 years old, I did a complete 360 in my life. I met my soul mate Jon and after only 7 months of dating found myself planning our wedding. Life comes at you fast when you're with the right person. Nine months later we welcome our little girl Madeline into our lives. We tried the high power duel income family for about 8 months until we realize something had to give. I think it was midnight dinners in my office or his with Madeline laying on the floor between us that we realize there was more to life. Now I am a stay at home mom working part time contract work.
