Mary Ann's Story
Thumbnail sketch:
* After graduation from high school attended Cabrillo Junior College for a year and a half.
* Left for BYU Brigham Young University for a year
* Served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 18 months in the midwest
* Returned to BYU for two degrees a BS in Early Education and Elementary Ed and a MRS. Named changed to Harris.
* My husband ...Expand for more
was one of the last numbers selected in the draft for the Vietnam war. So he enlisted and received a direct commission as an officer in the US Army and we spent the next four years moving around the US.
* Six children and four years later we settled in Santa Rosa CA. Added 3 more young ones and are still here.
We are blessed with many grand children and enjoy being a part of their life.
