Life I am back from my deployment to Afghanistan. I welcome you to look through the photo's I have posted recently. My trip was good, the people I met will be friends for life - I have a whole new appreciation for our military fighting for and dying for the people of this country. Most of the local nationals I met were courteous and genuine and loved us for helping them. We are rebuilding this country - this is the Army Corps of Engineers mission - we are also teaching them how to become business men and yes - women! We have been in AF for 7 years - my first few days on the job brought me to reality - here was a room full of about 100 men and 2 or 3 women all there to learn about a project we were going to be advertising soon. As I looked around the room my eyes started to fill up because I knew that whoever received this job, many of their people would be killed in the process of completing it.
