Mary Ellen (Melly)'s Story

Reaching out to all Alpha Gamma Deltas from 1968-1971! After graduating, I moved back to Chicago and worked at Leo Burnett Advertising for a year. Then I moved to Los Angeles for twenty years. While there, I worked in the enteranment industry (lots of fun!) and adopted two babies, a girl from Calcutta, India and a boy from St. Louis (Italian, German and Cherokee), making us an interntional family since I'm Swedish, Russian, Austrian and...Expand for more
Polish. Then we moved to Dalton, Georgia (long story!) for 18 months before moving back to Chicago 17 years ago. I worked at three places until I started at Kraft Foods in 2000. I thought I'd stay there until I dropped, but they "asked" me to take "early retirement" last year. So now I am unemployed and trying to find work in that black hole of a job market. Meanwhile, I'm building my own business with Melaleuca, The Wellness Company.
