Life
I am living in Texas where I have been a member of the San Antonio Symphony since 1988. Before landing this job, I played in orchestras in Shreveport, LA, and Yamagata, Japan, and we still go to Boulder every summer where I play in the Colorado Music Festival. ind of school from SVHS in the '70s, to say the least. Our two sons were born in '95 and '97; some of my older son's classmates have grandparents not too much older than me! Our daughter was born in 2001. I went back to using both my names, Mary Ellen, when I went to college (that is what my family had always called me anyway). I can't say that high school was all that great a time, but somehow living so far away makes me nostalgic for "home".
