Mary Aris:  

I was the shy girl with the back brace always at the library. I excelled in English Literatue and always loved to write stories and poems. After high school I applied to a business school and obtained a diploma in executive secretarial. In 1985 I started working at the West New York Public Library as a Library Assistant. I worked there for twenty years. The last eight years while I worked at the library I managed the children's department. In 1999 I met my future husband, a wonderful Englishman. We met through my Yahoo Poetry Club. In 2002 we got engaged and were married in 2004. We now live in his home town of Oxford, England.
