Start typing your story here. In the fall of 1964 iI started a OTI in the Dental Assasent school. untill after winter quater. then i went to work at Maxins Rest. at the Bus Depot. I quit to go back to school but could not enter that quater. I was looking for another job. My 20th B'day came around and Maxine call me back to work. At first i did not want to but i caved in and went to work at 9pm. That turned out to be one of the best days of my life. G. Bruce Whitten was quiting as the cook that night (he had started the day after i quit the first time) to back in the Air Force. It was love as first site for me. For the next 3 days we spent all waking time together talking of what we wanted out of life. The 3er day He said "I would have to by crazy to marrie you." and I said "Your dnot quit my type." in respond. That was the 7th of Oct, 1966. He did call me befor he left on the 9th to say good by again. When I went to work on the 8th i told the other workers that I was going to marrie {NO MY SPELLING HAS NOT GOTTEN ANY BETTER } I recived a post card the 12 that said "Have arived safe sound and insain". thay is not even a return address. Ther is a whold sroty about the next 5 days i will skip. The next time i see him was the 18th of Oct. Again a story of what went on between my family Bruce and I. that came to an end o;n Nov. 6. 1966 with our marrage in Reno Na. and a 3 day trip back to Mcord air base in Wash. We were $les and gat a one rome Atartment for $35 at 4051/2 E Pike in June of 67 we owned our own restrant untill Sept. In Jan. we moved to Twin Falls Id the iWere our first girl was born Nov 6, 1968 then moved to Ogden Ut. and our first Boy was born Dec 18, 1969. We adp[ted a 16 year old in 1970 We signed for him go into the Army at 17. ( another story)Then to Denver Co. were we had our 2nd girl Aprial 18th 1971 My dad died Sept of 1972 a few days after coming to vsit us for the first time. bough a house, had our 2nd Dec 31 1972 and 3re boy April 1975 With 2 niscarages between. Did go to my 10th class reunion. In Aug.1977 Bruce was ordained to the priest hood in the Apstolic Catholic Church. Then in 1977 we moved to Boise Id. bought a house then to Ferndale Wash in june of 79 and Feb 8th 1982 Bruce was killed in a tree cutting accadent .and i was pregnat again. I miscarage the 17 of March and my mom died July 1.Alll in 1982 Maried again in 1983 In the Cathlic church. He devoirced me in 1985 and he died in 2004 I did not date again untill 1989 meet my presant husbon but we dated only 4 month and he maried some on else In 1996 i called hem on a busness tranaction found he would be dovorced in May.
