Mary's Story
Life
After finishing our enlistments in the Navy, Caryl and I moved to Michigan where we currently live. We have 2 daughters. Our oldest is in college now. She is attending Grand Valley State University. Our youngest is a senior this year (07-08) in High School.
Workplace
I am currently working for Meijer, a one stop shopping chain in the midwest.
Military

uring my enlistment and we were married in 1984. We have celebrated 20 years of marriage this past fall (2004). I worked for the Best IC gang on board the USS Acadia under ICC Michael Freedman and then later ICC Christopher Smalley.
I love to watch NASCAR. My favorite driver is Carl Edwards. I have been to a couple races at MIS and hopefully I will be able to go to more races in the future.
My first job was at Crows , where I got paid very little to detassle corn. What I remember most about it is working with Diane and hiding in the corn to scare our crew boss.
