Kerry Daniel:  

I grew up in Colorado until the mid-50's then moved with my family to Takoma Park MD where we spent several years before moving to our home in Rockville, MD. I was a student at Peary the first year it opened and graduated in 1965. In the years since I've lived in Florida, Colorado and now North Carolina where I've put down some serious roots. I've retired from being a member of the "workforce," but I'm a part-time "au purr"-- yes, a cat nanny! I take care of kitties in their own homes while their families are away. In my spare time, I write...and I'm reading all those books that have been on my "rainy day" list for years. Currently I'm finishing writing my memoir, which I hope to publish late next year. Also in 2015 I'll be volunteering with SisterCare, a local non-profit that helps people with household tasks and taking them to and from doctor appointments while they recover from short-term illness or accidents. I'm also a non-performing member of Womansong, a community chorus here in Asheville. I sang with them for four years and now help with promotion of their concerts and souvenir sales.
