God has blessed me richly........I have a wonderful husband, 3 kids, 2 granddaughters and a grandson on the way. I am the Clinical Manager of a Bone Marrow/Islet Processing Facility. We conduct clinical trials where organs and bone marrow from the same donor are transplanted to the recipient at the same time. This will hopefully...Expand for more
trick the recipients immune system into accepting the new organ as it's own thereby allowing the patient to get off of immunosuppressant drugs which after long-term use are very toxic to the patient (I know, I'm a geek!).
