People have asked me several times what happened to me, where did I go after I graduated in '76 - well, here goes! After graduation, I worked for several months at the old Dairy Queen on Rt. 60 (now where the Huntington Bank is). In January 1977, I married Bill Lockard (from Hunt. East), at Fellowship Baptist Church. We met in the youth department at Fellowship and dated awhile before we were married. Since Bill was in the Army, we moved to Ft. Knox, Ky, and then soon thereafter to Mainz, Germany, where we lived for 3 years. My oldest daughter was born in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1979. After 5 years in the military, we got out and moved to Lynchburg, VA, where Bill attended Liberty University for 3 years, and also where our two youngest children where born in '83, and '84. Because of his father's worsening health, we moved to Ansted, WV in 1985. In 1986, after his father's death, we moved to Clarksville, TN and raised our family there. In 1995, Bill and I were divorced, and I stayed in TN until 2001, when I moved to Alabama (yes, I moved around a lot! Get to meet lots of new people that way!)
